1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use FriendFinder. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

2. Account Registration

When creating an account, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities under your account. You agree to immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account.

3. Prohibited Conduct

You agree NOT to engage in any of the following activities:

• Harassment & Abuse: Bullying, intimidation, stalking, or any form of harassment.
• Impersonation: Pretending to be another person or entity.
• Spam & Scams: Sending unsolicited commercial messages, phishing, or fraudulent schemes.
• Inappropriate Content: Posting explicit, violent, hateful, or illegal content.
• Automation: Using bots, scripts, or automated tools to interact with our platform.
• Data Mining: Scraping or extracting data without permission.
• Illegal Activities: Any conduct that violates applicable laws or regulations.

Violation of these rules may result in immediate account suspension or permanent ban.

4. Content & Intellectual Property

4.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of content you post (photos, bio, messages). By posting, you grant FriendFinder a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, and display your content for the purpose of operating the service.

4.2 Our IP

The FriendFinder name, logo, design, and software are our intellectual property. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works without written permission.

5. Termination & Suspension

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion for violations of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through account settings or by contacting support.

6. Disclaimers

FriendFinder is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that you will find compatible matches or that the platform will be error-free, uninterrupted, or secure. We are not responsible for user conduct, and interactions with other users are at your own risk.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FriendFinder and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service, even if we have been advised of such damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us (if any) in the past 12 months.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless FriendFinder from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your violation of these Terms or your interactions with other users.

9. Dispute Resolution & Arbitration

Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of FriendFinder shall be resolved through binding individual arbitration, not in court. You agree to waive the right to participate in class actions or class arbitrations. Arbitration will be conducted by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules.

Opt-out: You may opt out of this arbitration agreement within 30 days of creating your account by emailing legal@friendfinder.com.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified via email or in-app notification. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
